Restorative Maintenance
The cartop, pit, machine room, and door equipment had not been maintained properly by the previous elevator company and had many code violations. We restored the maintenance standard of the cartop, pit, machine room, and door equipment expeditiously, and performed inspection and testing to rectify the code violations
What Services We Performed and How We Solved the Issue
- initial inspection to identify the unknown issues
- Creation of a custom maintenance schedule based on usage and age
- Back maintenance to remove dust and debris from cartop, pit, and machine room
- Replaced extremely worn rollers & made adjustments
- Painted pit and machine room to setup for successful maintenance going forward
- Performed overdue Periodic Inspection & CAT 1 Safety Test
- Sent reports and proposal to rectify the code violations
- Received approval and had equipment fully up to snuff on both maintenance and compliance within 45 days of initial survey
